Job Description

Electrical QC Technician - Job Overview We are seeking a detail‑oriented QC Technician with Electrical manufacturing experience who is comfortable working in an evolving, startup‑like production setting, and can confidently uphold quality expectations with technicians and cross‑functional teams. Key Responsibilities Conduct internal audits on "ready to close" units and finished products. Perform audits on Work‑in‑Progress (WIP) items tied to open work orders. Execute internal process audits to verify compliance with GDP, GMP, and SOP requirements. Audit technician workstations for adherence to 5S, GMP, and GDP standards. Inspect and evaluate the manufacturing floor to ensure compliance with 5S and GMP. Draft and issue Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs) when quality deviations are identified. Maintain and update the QC Internal Audit Failure Log. Serve as the point of contact for quality checks during incoming inspections. Support technicians and production leads with quality‑related questions and corrective actions. Assist buyers in evaluating and rejecting defective vendor‑supplied components. Uphold and enforce quality standards, even in situations requiring pushback or coaching. Perform additional tasks that support continuous improvement and maturing quality systems. Essential Skills & Experience Electrical manufacturing experience required , including exposure to PCBAs, wire harnesses, or related assemblies. Strong understanding of GDP, GMP, and general quality control practices. Proficiency in inspection procedures and QC methodologies. Familiarity with PCB handling, ESD practices, and electronics manufacturing workflows. Strong Excel skills required , including accurate data entry and basic spreadsheet tasks used for tracking, referencing, and reporting. Ability to work effectively in a developing environment where processes, standards, and work instructions are still being built. Confidence in enforcing standards and providing constructive feedback to technicians when needed. Job Type & Location Contract‑to‑Hire Based in Alameda, CA Pay & Benefits Pay range: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Alameda, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
