In this vital role, you will be responsible for inspecting incoming materials, components, and finished products to ensure they meet strict quality standards and regulatory requirements. Your keen eye for detail and thorough understanding of quality systems will help maintain the integrity of our manufacturing processes, ensuring only compliant items proceed through production. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-quality manufacturing operations in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive inspections of incoming shipments using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems to verify dimensions and specifications. Utilize coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and other advanced inspection tools to assess complex parts for conformance with design drawings and quality standards. Review documentation including certificates of compliance, calibration records, and inspection reports to ensure adherence to
ISO 13485, ISO 9001, FDA
regulations, and other applicable standards. Conduct visual inspections and functional tests on received products to identify defects or deviations from specifications. Document inspection results accurately in data collection systems and prepare detailed reports for quality management review. Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to address non-conformances, initiate corrective actions, and facilitate quality audits. Support compliance with HACCP, CGMP, and other regulatory frameworks by maintaining meticulous records and following established procedures. Experience Proven experience in quality inspection within manufacturing or medical device environments. Familiarity with quality management systems such as ISO 9001 and
ISO 13485
is highly desirable. Hands-on experience operating precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, vision inspection systems, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM). Knowledge of QA/QC processes, including conducting quality audits and analysis skills for root cause identification. Understanding of FDA regulations, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), HACCP principles, and related compliance standards. Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills to identify discrepancies or defects during inspections. Ability to work effectively within a team environment while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting. $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
