Pridestaff is currently seeking a Warehouse Quality Control for a food distribution center located in Irwindale, CA. This is a full-time, contract to permanent position with opportunity to grow. Please see job requirements below to be considered.

Pay Range:

$20-21 (depending on experience)

Shift:

Monday - Friday, 7am to 3:30pm

Job Summary :

The Quality Control inspector will be responsible for the inspection and verification steps used to make sure items are received, stored, and shipping correctly.

Job Duties:

Receiving:

Count incoming boxes, match them to purchase orders, and check for physical damage or wrong items.

Storage:

Monitor room temperature, humidity, and shelf safety. Use first-in, first-out (FIFO) rules for expiration dates.

Picking and Packing:

Verify that workers pick the correct items, use the right box sizes, and add proper labels.

Shipping:

Do a final check on outbound orders before handing them to carrier

Job Requirements:

Must have recent relevant experience in quality inspection in a warehouse or logistics environment. Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and pull throughout an 8-hour shift.
