Compensation:
$18.00•20.00 per hour Job Summary:
The Copper Plating Operator supports production by manually submerging panels and/or operating repetitive plating and wet process machines to electroplate and tinplate circuits onto panels. This role is responsible for loading materials, monitoring equipment, and performing standard setups while making basic adjustments to speed, temperature, and chemical levels as needed. The position also includes checking chemical baths, assisting with machine maintenance, and supporting process stability under general supervision. Key Responsibilities:
Operate manual plating processes and related equipment independently with minimal supervision
Perform setup activities and make adjustments to ensure compliance with customer specifications
Evaluate product quality, stop processing of non-conforming materials when necessary, and communicate issues to management
Adhere to production schedules and workflow priorities established by production control
Maintain productivity levels by efficiently managing tasks and supporting continuous workflow
Review all production travelers
Load materials and prepare the production line for processing
Develop and manage plating recipes and chemical chemistry to support production requirements
Apply tape to boards in preparation for processing Qualifications Required:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of four (4) years of experience in the printed circuit industry and three (3) years of experience in copper plating
Knowledge of industry standards and ability to apply them appropriately in production processes
Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with management and supervisory teams
Ability to follow established company systems, processes, and procedures consistently and accurately
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong understanding of military and rigid-flex printed circuit boards
Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time
Ability to lift and move items up to 20 lbs as needed Additional Information:

The CMM Programmer plays a key role in supporting precision inspection processes for aerospace-grade forged and machined components within a regulated manufacturing environment. This role ensures product quality, accuracy, and compliance with engineering specifications through CMM and Romer arm inspection and programming. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of hands-on experience, a strong understanding of GD&T, and demonstrates a high level of attention to detail, technical proficiency, and commitment to maintaining quality standards in a production-driven environment. Key Responsibilities:
Perform dimensional inspections of forged and machined aerospace components using CMMs and portable Romer arms. Program and troubleshoot inspection routines using PC-DMIS or equivalent CMM software. Operate and program Romer/FARO arms for mobile measurement, in-process verification, and reverse engineering. Interpret aerospace engineering drawings, 3D CAD models, and technical specifications with precision. Conduct First Article Inspections (FAIs) per AS9102, along with in-process and final inspections. Identify, document, and report nonconformances; generate NCRs and assist in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA). Maintain calibration status and traceability of inspection equipment per AS9100D standards. Work closely with Quality Engineers, Machinists, and Production teams to resolve quality issues and support continuous improvement. Support internal and customer audits; provide detailed inspection records and reports upon request Complete all applicable inspection documentation, including first article inspection reports and daily inspection logs. Move Work Orders in the production system (Flex) upon inspection completion. Maintain clean and organized inspection work areas, tools, and equipment. Promptly report non-conformances, equipment issues, or safety concerns to the Quality Manager or designee. Actively support ISO 9001 and AS9100 compliance efforts and internal audits. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S practices. Promote and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment. Qualifications Required:
5+ years of experience in aerospace quality inspection, including forging and machining environments. Proficiency in CMM operation and programming (PC-DMIS or equivalent). Experience using and programming Romer or FARO arms. Expert knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y14.5) and blueprint interpretation. Familiarity with AS9100D, ISO
9001, and AS9102 FAI
requirements. Skilled in using standard metrology tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc.). Strong computer skills:
MS Office Suite, quality management software, and data reporting tools. Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills. Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
Stand and walk for 8-10 hours per day. Use hands to handle, measure, and inspect parts. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Required vision:
close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Aerospace manufacturing environment; exposure to machinery, tooling, and shop-floor noise. May involve prolonged standing, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, and use of PPE. Primarily day shift; overtime or weekends may be required based on production demands. Interview Process:

criteria to assess workmanship, soldering, and cosmetic requirements Identify, tag, and document nonconforming items; coordinate with Quality and Engineering for resolution Issue certificate of conformance Maintain CMMs and inspection tools in good condition, including inspection stamp Perform calibration of calipers, micrometers, and templates; coordinate outside calibration Update and maintain Master Calibration List Inspect materials and components upon receipt to confirm documentation, certifications, and traceability meet requirements Conduct in-process checks to verify critical features and detect defects early in production Perform final inspections to confirm product readiness for shipment, including dimensional, visual, and functional checks Capture and upload inspection photos, ballooned drawings, and other evidence into QMS/ERP Participate in containment and root cause investigation activities when quality issues arise Maintain an organized, clean work area that supports ESD and FOD prevention Qualifications Required:
