Commercial Cooking Equipment Location:
Brea, CA Shift:
M-F, 5:00am - 1:30pm
Pay:
$21.00/hr We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector to inspect commercial cooking equipment and ensure all products meet company quality, safety, and performance standards. Responsibilities Inspect commercial cooking equipment during production and before shipment. Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and technical specifications. Inspect gas lines, valves, regulators, burners, fittings, and connections. Inspect electrical wiring, control panels, switches, thermostats, motors, and heating components. Test equipment for proper operation, gas leaks, electrical safety, and overall performance. Verify measurements, materials, workmanship, and component placement. Identify defects and document necessary repairs or corrections. Work with production employees to resolve quality concerns. Maintain accurate inspection and testing records. Ensure equipment meets company requirements and applicable safety standards. Follow all workplace, gas, and electrical safety procedures. Generate rejection reports. Qualifications Previous quality-control, manufacturing, or commercial-equipment experience preferred. Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings. Working knowledge of gas and electrical systems. Ability to use electrical meters, gas-leak detectors, pressure gauges, and standard inspection tools. Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to communicate problems clearly and professionally. Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work around manufacturing equipment. Relevant electrical, gas, HVAC, mechanical, or quality-control certifications are a plus.
