This role requires precision and a keen eye for detail to ensure the highest standards of quality are met in the inspection of printed circuit board assemblies (PCBA). This is a temp-to-hire position, offering a fantastic opportunity for growth within the electronics manufacturing industry. Responsibilities Read blueprints and engineering specifications to gather necessary information such as material, electrical, and cosmetic requirements. Perform visual and dimensional inspections of printed circuit board assemblies to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, process specifications, IPC-610 standards, J-STD-001, and customer-specific criteria. Conduct inspections on electrical or electronic components using electrical meters or instruments to confirm adherence to specifications. Inspect conformal coatings under both black and white light. Perform and document first article inspections of boards after Thru-Hole processing. Conduct sub-assembly, box build, shipping, and receiving inspections as required. Assist in failure investigations, root cause analysis, corrective action activities, and quality improvement projects. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of two years of related inspection experience in electronics manufacturing. Ability to read blueprints, drawings, specifications, and PCB gerbers. Skilled in electrically measuring resistors and capacitors. Proficient in English communication, both written and verbal, at a general business level. Expertise in reading component values by inspecting parts. Knowledge of various computer programs, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Adobe. Required Work Hours Monday•Friday, 8:00 AM•4:30 PM (1st Shift) Benefits Important! This Inspector must have experience inspecting PCBA for at least 6 hours using a microscope.
