FULL DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a detail-oriented QC Incoming Inspector to ensure incoming materials, electronic components, printed circuit boards, PCBAs, and mechanical components meet engineering drawings, customer requirements, purchase order requirements, and applicable industry quality standards before entering production. This role will perform visual and dimensional inspections, review technical documentation, complete First Article Inspections when required, identify non-conforming material, document inspection results, and support quality improvement activities within a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong PCBA inspection experience, working knowledge of IPC-A-600 and

IPC-A-610

standards, and experience using microscopes and precision measuring equipment. The selected candidate will be responsible for: Performing incoming inspections of printed circuit boards, PCBAs, electronic components, and mechanical parts Inspecting connectors, BGAs, heat sinks, brackets, and other electronic and mechanical assembly components Reading and interpreting blueprints, fabrication drawings, engineering specifications, customer requirements, and PCB Gerber files Determining required materials, cosmetic criteria, dimensional requirements, and workmanship standards from technical documentation Performing visual and dimensional inspections of printed circuit boards and electronic assemblies Inspecting SMT and Through-Hole components and workmanship Using microscopes to inspect electronic components, solder workmanship, PCBAs, and related assemblies Applying IPC-A-600 and

workmanship standards during inspection activities Performing First Article Inspections and recording results when required Using calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, and other precision measurement tools to verify drawing tolerances Verifying component identification, part condition, dimensions, and workmanship Comparing incoming materials against purchase orders, engineering documentation, and customer specifications Identifying non-conforming materials or workmanship and documenting discrepancies appropriately Entering detailed inspection results into the M2M database or other applicable quality systems Verifying the completeness and accuracy of documentation required by purchase orders Using internal computer systems to review documents, technical files, inspection records, and quality workflows Maintaining complete and accurate incoming inspection records Communicating inspection findings to Quality, Engineering, Production, Purchasing, and other appropriate teams Supporting failure investigations and root cause analysis activities Supporting corrective actions and continuous quality improvement initiatives Maintaining a clean and organized inspection area Following all applicable quality, manufacturing, safety, and documentation procedures Performing other duties as assigned The selected candidate will also possess: High school diploma or equivalent required 2+ years of related incoming inspection experience within an electronics manufacturing environment required PCBA or EMS manufacturing experience required

9001, or similar regulated manufacturing environment preferred Ability to successfully complete required pre-employment drug and background screening Must qualify as a U.S. Person under applicable ITAR requirements Ability to work onsite in Brea, CA Ability to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Ability to work overtime as required based on production needs Ability to support a temp-to-hire opportunity

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods while performing incoming inspection activities Ability to use hands and fingers for handling electronic components, inspection tools, measurement equipment, documentation, and computer work Ability to use microscopes for detailed inspection of printed circuit boards, components, solder workmanship, and electronic assemblies Ability to use calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, and other precision measuring equipment Ability to visually inspect small electronic components, PCBAs, mechanical parts, and workmanship for extended periods Ability to review engineering drawings, Gerber files, specifications, inspection records, and computer screens for extended periods Ability to occasionally bend, reach, stoop, and move throughout inspection and manufacturing areas as needed Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds Ability to work around electronic assemblies, manufacturing equipment, and normal production activity Ability to wear required PPE and follow applicable manufacturing, quality, and safety procedures Ability to maintain focus, accuracy, and attention to detail throughout repetitive precision inspection activities
