Cold Header (multi-die progressive) Setup/Operator/Trainee (Cerritos, CA) Omni-Lite Industries California Inc., a provider to Fortune 500 companies in the aerospace, military, automotive and sports recreation industries, seeks qualified candidate for the position of Cold Header (multi-die progressive) Setup/Operator/Trainee.
About the job:
Omni-Lite will provide training for this position 2nd shift (1:00pm - 9:30pm) Conduct 1st article inspection and in process inspection of manufactured product using inspection tools - micrometers, calipers, comparators, etc. Responsible for ensuring manufactured product meets inspection criteria indicated on part drawing Coordinate with quality department to ensure that all product is completed per customer requirements. Coordinate with engineering to capture all header tooling print revisions. Ensure that all documentation (inspection sheets and various logs) are complete and accurate. Adheres to all company procedures and quality requirements At times employees will be asked to perform duties outside their regular duties in the best interest of the company. Including, but not limited to doing inventory, shop clean up, shop improvements or other various tasks as needed. Steel toed boots / safety glasses required
Qualifications:
Previous experience not required - on the job training will be provided Familiarity with calipers/micrometers preferred Previous experience in manufacturing environment preferred Interest in machinery and mechanical ability Computer proficiency Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail, regulations, and safety procedures Competency with basic arithmetic operations. Organizational skills, initiative, and ability to work well independently Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
