Quality Inspector Job Description This role focuses on performing detailed inspections of high-level products on the production floor, working closely with the quality assurance team to keep systems and records accurate for client orders. You will verify product dimensions, conduct visual inspections, and support other departments such as packing and production as needed while contributing to consistent product quality. Responsibilities Perform floor inspections of products to ensure they meet quality standards and client specifications. Check product dimensions, including length, width, and height, using appropriate measurement instruments and tools. Conduct thorough visual inspections to identify defects, inconsistencies, or nonconforming products. Document inspection results accurately and help keep quality systems and records up to date for client orders. Collaborate with quality assurance team members to maintain and improve quality control processes. Support final inspection activities to verify that finished products meet all required standards before shipment. Assist in packing operations to ensure products are packaged correctly and safely. Work on the production line as needed to help maintain workflow and uphold quality expectations. Follow established quality control and quality assurance procedures and report any issues or deviations promptly. Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies while working on the production floor and in related areas. Essential Skills Minimum 1-2 years of experience in quality inspection or a closely related role. Hands-on experience with quality inspection and packing processes in a production or manufacturing environment. Ability to use measurement tools and instruments to verify product dimensions (length, width, and height). Strong visual inspection skills with attention to detail for identifying defects and quality issues. Experience with quality control, quality assurance, and quality checks in a production setting. Capability to perform final inspection on products prior to shipment. Ability to work effectively in a bilingual Spanish-speaking environment. Willingness to assist with general labor tasks related to production, packaging, and assembly. Reliability in following established procedures and maintaining accurate inspection records. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience working in production, packaging, or assembly environments. Comfort working in a general labor setting with varied tasks across departments. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality assurance and production staff. Strong communication skills in a bilingual (Spanish-speaking) environment. Work Environment This position is based in a bilingual Spanish-speaking production environment on the second shift, running Monday through Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. You will work on the production floor, performing inspections, packing, and general labor tasks alongside quality assurance and production teams. The environment involves the regular use of measurement tools and inspection equipment, as well as participation in packaging and assembly activities. You should be comfortable working on your feet, handling physical tasks, and following established safety procedures in a manufacturing setting. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Commerce, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.20 - $19.20/hr.
