Position Responsibilities:
Scans, uploads, files, and maintains vendor documentation and inspection records within company systems Coordinates Priority Inspection requests, including locating, staging, and organizing material for inspection Assists with ERP transactions, purchase order corrections, Return to Vendor (RTV) activities, and material tracking Supports calibration and tooling sweeps and helps maintain organization of inspection equipment and the Receiving Inspection area Assists with inspection logs, daily status tracking, inventory searches, and material movement as needed Performs basic COTS receiving inspections after training and progressively learn the use of inspection tools, drawings, specifications, and quality requirements Progressively expands inspection skills through training in electrical harnesses, PCB/PCBA, mechanical components, and other aerospace hardware Develops familiarity with applicable aerospace workmanship and quality requirements, including AS9100 and relevant IPC requirements, as applicable to assigned inspections Maintains cleanliness, organization, and 5S standards within the Receiving Inspection area Performs additional duties as assigned in support of Receiving Inspection operations This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.Shift:
This position is primarily 1st shift; however, there may be additional shift requirements to support program objectives. Candidates must be able to work any shift assigned.Union:
This is an hourly union-represented position governed by the Cabinet Makers, Millmen and Industrial Carpenters Union (CMM&IC Local 721). New hires and employees transferring from non-union roles may be required to attend or complete training within their 90-day probationary period. Continued employment is contingent on successfully completing the probationary period.Security Clearance:
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post Start is required.) Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Minimum of High School Diploma or GED Experience in Quality Assurance More than 1 year of experience using basic Microsoft Office and office computing systems Capable of lifting 20lbs or more on a frequent basis Ability to stand and move (reach, bend, or stoop) to handle products for extended periods of time with only short breaks Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Experience in inspection Experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications Experience working withESD, IPC
