We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to support quality assurance activities within a precision manufacturing environment. In this role, you'll inspect machined parts and assemblies, perform dimensional verification using advanced measurement equipment, and work closely with production teams to ensure products meet stringent quality standards.

What You'll Do:

Inspect machined parts, assemblies, and incoming materials to verify compliance with engineering specifications.

Perform dimensional inspections using precision measurement tools and equipment.

Operate ZEISS Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) and develop or execute Calypso measurement programs.

Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.

Generate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) when defects or discrepancies are identified.

Communicate quality findings to production teams and management.

Support troubleshooting, corrective action activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Monitor critical equipment, instrumentation, and testing processes.

Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety requirements, and inspection procedures.

Job Requirements

What You'll Bring:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

2+ years of experience in a Quality Control Inspector, Quality Inspector, or related manufacturing quality role.

2+ years of experience performing inspections in a machine shop, manufacturing, or precision machining environment.

2+ years of experience using precision measuring equipment and dimensional inspection tools.

2+ years of experience interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection requirements.

2+ years of experience applying Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles.

1+ year of hands-on experience operating

ZEISS CMM

equipment and utilizing Calypso software.

1+ year of experience creating inspection documentation, quality records, and NCRs.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and stand for extended periods.

What Sets You Apart:

ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) certification or similar quality certification.

Experience within semiconductor manufacturing environments.

Strong understanding of ASME and ANSI quality standards.

Experience developing and optimizing Calypso programs.

Ability to coach and mentor team members on inspection methods and measurement techniques.

Experience supporting root cause investigations and corrective action programs.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and continuous improvement skills.

Additional Information:

Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check.

Overtime:

May be required based on production demands and business needs.

Lifting Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform inspection activities for extended periods.
