CMM Programmer Ultimate Staffing Services - 3.8 Garden Grove, CA Job Details Full-time | Contract $40 - $55 an hour 11 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Full Job Description Essential Duties & Responsibilities Create CMM inspection programs (on & offline) by working with Engineering and Quality to determine the sequence and most accurate and efficient methods of inspection Review of program output to ensure compliance to quality inspection and customer requirements Perform and document daily machine calibrations Read, understand and accurately interpret Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), drawings, models and specifications to ensure accurate and efficient measurement of parts Operate Hexagon Bridge CMM and Portable Romer Arm CMMs Perform in-process, first piece and final inspections and analyze inspection data for compliance Document First Article Inspections using AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports Assist with inspections using CMMs and a variety of other metrology equipment and hand-tools (e.g., micrometers, bore gages, calipers, height gauge, indicators fixtures, etc.) to ensure complete inspection and product quality on new and existing products Help develop and implement methods and procedures for inspection and analysis methods Help with mentoring and training of CMM support staff as required Work with Engineering and Quality to design fixtures for CMM inspection when required Determines appropriate setups and measurement protocols to measure the accuracy of compound angles, exacting tolerances and numerous dimensions Completion of pertinent data records including PC-DMIS inspection reports, job log entry into the ERP, job routing package, inspection reports and logs, job techniques and customer specific documentation requirements Maintain accurate and complete records of inspections and prepare non-conformance reports Interacts with customers and government representatives during First Article Inspection, audits, and mandatory verification points Ensure effective communication between manufacturing and applicable support departments Establishes and maintains safety operations by adhering to procedures and policies Perform periodic machine PMs as required by OEM and internal PM schedule Performs other related duties as assigned by the Quality Control Manager All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
