  • pay rate $20-$25 DOE We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our dynamic manufacturing team.
In this pivotal role, you will champion the integrity of our production processes by ensuring all products meet rigorous quality standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Your expertise will drive continuous improvement initiatives, uphold compliance with global standards such as ISO 9001 and FDA regulations, and foster a culture of quality excellence across the organization. This is an exciting opportunity for professionals passionate about manufacturing quality systems and eager to make a tangible impact on product safety and customer satisfaction. Duties Perform detailed quality inspections and control checks throughout the production cycle to ensure products meet specified tolerances and regulatory requirements such as FDA regulations. Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to quality management systems, facilitating data-driven decision making. Support training initiatives to elevate team understanding of quality systems. Cosmetic Laboratory Assistant | (experience 5 year & up) Formulated prototypes : Compounded laboratory-scale experimental batches for skincare and hair care cosmetic products following exact chemist specifications. Executed quality testing : Conducted daily physical-chemical verification testing on raw materials and finished batches, ensuring correct pH, viscosity, and appearance. Maintained regulatory compliance : Documented all batch records, raw material usage, and test results in strict accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Calibrated instrumentation : Sanitized, calibrated, and maintained laboratory equipment including high-shear mixers, homogenizers, viscometers, and pH meters (once a year). Managed inventory : Tracked raw chemical stock levels and packaging components, updating the laboratory database to prevent supply shortages. Qualifications Proven experience practicing in an industrial or manufacturing engineering role with a focus on quality assurance or control. Strong knowledge of quality standards such as
HACCP, CGMP, ISO
9001, Lean management, Six Sigma manufacturing, and FDA regulations. Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough quality audits and inspections within a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with regulatory/legal compliance standards in production environments across various industries. Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and identify trends or issues promptly. Effective team leadership skills coupled with strong cross-functional communication abilities. Experience implementing or maintaining ISO standards is preferred. Knowledge of Quality systems including QA/QC procedures, GMP practices, GD&T principles, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
