Job Description

Modes Corwik Collections, a Montreal based fashion wholesale apparel company with North American and International customers is searching for a QC Technician. Our QC department is rapidly growing making it a fast paced and exciting environment with tremendous growth potential. Reporting to the QC director in Montreal, the specialist will be responsible to perform and assist in routine inspections in our LA warehouse
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform random inspection and quality tests on bulk products to ensure it meets all required specifications.
  • Ensure that any and all defects are communicated/flagged to manager/supervisor in order to address the issue immediately and propose corrective solution.
  • To aid in all aspects of QC activities related to internal or external audits. Help schedule inline/final inspections
  • Assisting/supporting process improvements and immediately flagging any and all aspects that deter from process.
  • Manage special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Able to work independently
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in quality control/assurance field in the garment import /apparel industry.
  • Strong English written and oral communication skills.
  • Be able to work autonomously and be a team player.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Highly organized and pro-active
  • Excellent data collection and analysis skills.
  • Basic computer knowledge of the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and Momentis)
  • Knowledge of garment and fabric construction, terminology, measurements and workmanship.
  • Knowledge and experience in bulk sample inspection and comment.
