40Job Description Summary:
Performs and coordinates distribution, inventory, equipment, charging and record keeping functions. Responsible for executing accurate inventory procedures in Pyxis, freestanding carts, specialty carts and emergency drawers per established assignments. Performs a truing up of inventory prior to refill through hand-held devices or Lawson inventory sheets. Manages supplemental orders. Ensures products on shelf is within manufacture expiration dates and works with departmental leadership in monitoring fast and slow moving products. Participates in departmental cycle counts and annual inventories.Job Requirements, Prerequisites and Essential Functions:
EDUCATION
High school diploma orGED. EXPERIENCE
One to two years' experience in Material Supply Distribution, preferably in a healthcare setting.LICENSURE AND CERTIFICATIONS
Integrative Agitation Management (IAM) Required within 30 days of hirePREREQUISITE SKILLS
- Knowledge of medical supplies, terminology and equipment procedures.
- Knowledge of basic inventory management concepts and terminology.
- Ability to read, write and speak English.
- Ability to perform simple mathematical functions and to write and print legibly.
- Ability to demonstrate good customer relations and to maintain a professional demeanor.
- Ability to handle a large volume of detailed work accurately.
- Working knowledge of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to work effectively as a team member and contribute positively toward the overall goals of the Department.
