We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team! The Quality Inspector will be responsible for performing mechanical, receiving, and in-process inspections to ensure that all products meet our company's quality standards. This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity and reputation of our products and requires a high level of precision and commitment to quality. Key Responsibilities 1.
Mechanical Inspection:
Conduct detailed inspections of electrical and mechanical components and assemblies using various measuring tools and equipment (e.g., calipers, microscopes, micrometers, gauges). Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical documents to determine inspection criteria. Identify and document non-conformances, and work with the engineering and production teams to resolve issues. 2.
Receiving Inspection:
Inspect incoming raw materials, components, and products to ensure they meet specified quality standards and purchase order requirements. Verify supplier documentation, such as certificates of compliance and material test reports. Maintain accurate records of inspections and create detailed reports on the quality of received goods. 3.
In-Process Inspection:
Perform in-process inspections on production lines to ensure products meet quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. Monitor production processes for compliance with established procedures and quality standards. Collaborate with production personnel to identify and address quality issues promptly. 4.
Documentation and Reporting:
Accurately document inspection results and maintain inspection records. Prepare and present quality reports to management, highlighting any areas of concern and suggesting improvements. Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and standards. 5.
Continuous Improvement:
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and provide feedback for process enhancements. Stay updated on industry standards and best practices in quality inspection. 6.
Skills:
Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment Strong understanding of mechanical drawings and specifications. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficient in using computer software for documentation and reporting. Proficient in cleanroom best practices.
Qualifications Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in quality inspection, manufacturing technology, or a related field is preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality inspection, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Skills:
Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment. Strong understanding of mechanical drawings and specifications. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficient in using computer software for documentation and reporting.
Schedule:
Full-time / Monday•Friday / 7:00am•3:30pm
Salary:
$20.00•$22.50 per hour / Bi-Weekly Pay Schedule (Direct Deposit) This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on experience.
