Job Description

Contract to hire: $57/hr. We are seeking a QA Inspector with a primary focus on piping systems to support a large-scale industrial construction project. This role is responsible for ensuring all piping installations meet required codes, specifications, and quality standards. Experience with pressure vessels and ASME Section VIII is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform inspection and verification of piping systems including fabrication, installation, and testing
  • Ensure compliance with ASME, API, and project-specific specifications
  • Conduct inspections on welds, hydrostatic testing, and as-built layouts
  • Review isometric drawings, P&IDs, and welding procedures
  • Support pressure vessel inspections in accordance with ASME Section VIII
  • Maintain quality documentation and reports
  • Identify non-conformances and drive corrective actions Required Qualifications
  • Over 5 years of QA inspection experience in piping
  • Strong knowledge of ASME piping codes (B31.3 preferred)
  • Experience with hydrotesting and pressure systems
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with ASME Section VIII
  • CWI certifications
  • Industrial or petrochemical project experience
