Full Job Description About Us:

We are a fast-paced, custom manufacturing job shop specializing in precision components for a variety of industries including aerospace, defense, and commercial sectors. Our company is committed to quality, compliance, and continuous improvement. We are currently seeking a skilled Quality Inspector to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Quality Inspector will be responsible for inspecting machined as well as sheet metal parts and assemblies to ensure conformance with customer specifications and internal standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in a job shop environment, with a strong understanding of ITAR regulations and

ISO 9001/AS9100

standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform in-process, first article, and final inspections of parts using hand tools, gages, CMM, and other inspection equipment as well as paint/plating inspections Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions Document inspection results accurately and maintain records per company and regulatory requirements Work closely with shop supervisors and engineering to resolve quality issues Support continuous improvement efforts and root cause analysis Ensure compliance with ITAR and

ISO 9001/AS9100

requirements

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years (5+ preferred) of experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing or job shop environment Strong understanding of GD&T and mechanical inspection techniques Familiarity with ITAR compliance and

ISO 9001/AS9100

standards Experience with precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, height gages, etc.) CMM programming or operation experience is a plus Detail-oriented with excellent documentation and communication skills U.S. Person status required due to ITAR regulations

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in a job shop setting Bilingual (Spanish) preferred but not required Familiarity with ERP and quality management systems
