We are a craft beer bar with 50 beers on tap and 10 cooler doors with a variety of cans and bottle we well to go. The essential candidate is someone that is punctual, coachable, works well with management, has some craft beer knowledge, and has good customer service skills. Essential Functions But Not Limited To
  • Set up bar and beer availability for each shift.
  • Proper cash and credit card handling procedures.
  • Complete opening and closing side work duties.
  • Adequately understand and explain menu items particularly beer selection.
  • Execute a professional level of service.
  • Clear, clean, and reset bar area as needed. Carry soiled dishes, glassware, and disinfect bar area.
  • Tend to guests seated at the bar, serve beer, wine, cider, nonalcoholic beverages.
  • Communicate effectively
  • Assist in cleaning projects, deep cleaning, necessary clean-up of spills or messes including back areas and restrooms. This is not an all-encompassing list of duties and responsibilities associates may from time to time participate in additional tasks and duties assigned by management as needed for successful bar and dining room operations. Requirements
  • Ability to communicate clearly with management and team members, communicate with kindness with guests and team members.
  • Follow all meal and rest break period state requirements.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment under high pressure circumstances, orchestrate tasks and prioritize.
  • Safe alcohol serving procedures, verify legal drinking age for all guests
  • Proper food handling procedures.
  • ServeSafe or equivalent safe food handling certification.
  • Punctuality.
  • California RBS Certification Required Pay:
    $18.50
  • $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 6.0
