Summary The Sr. Quality Control Technician is responsible for performing quality inspections on materials and finished products, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and supporting manufacturing operations. This role involves documentation, issue resolution, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to maintain product quality and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Perform quality inspections on preproduction materials and finished products. Document non-conformances and support Material Review Board (MRB) processes. Complete inspections based on priority schedules and production timelines. Communicate quality issues to manufacturing, purchasing, and quality teams. Maintain and archive inspection records, reports, and quality metrics. Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives. Attend daily meetings, stage-gate reviews, and team discussions. Collaborate with manufacturing and quality engineering to define inspection criteria and processes. Assist in customer complaint investigations and corrective actions. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company policies. Required Skills Minimum 3+ years of experience in quality inspection or manufacturing. Strong knowledge of quality control processes and manufacturing environments. Experience with inspection tools (microscopes, calipers, micrometers, gauges). Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and wiring schematics. Proficiency in ERP systems and Agile PLM. Strong computer skills including MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams). Excellent communication and documentation skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Associate degree in Science, Technology, or related field. Experience in regulated manufacturing environments. Familiarity with quality systems and continuous improvement methodologies. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Ability to stand for extended periods and work in manufacturing environments. Ability to climb ladders and perform physical inspection activities.
