Role:
The Quality Inspector plays a critical role in ensuring that manufacturing processes and products meet established quality standards and specifications. This position involves conducting detailed inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods to identify defects or deviations from quality requirements. The Quality Inspector I collaborates closely with production teams to provide timely feedback and support continuous improvement initiatives. By maintaining accurate records and documentation, this role helps uphold compliance with industry regulations and company policies. Ultimately, the Quality Inspector I contributes to delivering high-quality products that satisfy customer expectations and support the company's reputation for excellence.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 3 years of experience Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control principles. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate degree or certification in quality assurance, manufacturing technology, or a related field. Previous experience in a manufacturing quality inspection role. Familiarity with AS9100 and/or ISO 9001 or other quality management systems. Proficiency with quality documentation software and data entry. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
Perform visual and dimensional inspections of materials and products using precision measuring instruments and tools. Conduct in-process and final product testing to verify compliance with quality standards and specifications. Document inspection results accurately and report any non-conformances or defects to the quality management team. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify root causes of quality issues and recommend corrective actions. Maintain inspection equipment and ensure calibration is up to date to guarantee measurement accuracy. Follow safety protocols and quality procedures consistently to maintain a safe and compliant work environment. Assist in the development and implementation of quality control processes and continuous improvement initiatives.

Attention to detail helps identify defects early, while the ability to read technical drawings ensures products meet design requirements.
