Ensures the conformance to company and regulatory standards. Initiates, reviews, analyzes and reports on quality-related data/metrics from production, service, supplier or process improvement activities and analyzes using statistical techniques. Interfaces as needed with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor and subcontractor representatives to ensure process requirements are met. Supports the development of disposition and corrective actions for recurring product/process discrepancies for both make and buy items. Reviews completed assembly, process, test, mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical quality records to determine data accuracy, acceptability and completeness. Manages the quality records control process to assure adequate accountability and traceability. Develops and maintains governing procedures related to records control. Supports product acceptance and delivery per established process. This position will work in the Quality Control discipline for Quality & Mission Success for Lockheed Martin in Palmdale, CA and will be responsible for the following: Identifying, developing and automating quality health metrics to support various teams in Palmdale. Responsible for supporting the development of quality plans and procedures in accordance with customer requirements. Analyzes and interprets data and metrics that leads to actionable goals and continuous improvement. Will be required to draw conclusions from data sets and present findings to leadership. Collaborates with Quality Engineering for product defects and variation in manufacturing processes across production sites and centers to determine root cause and assist in development of corrective actions. Managing the quality records control process to assure adequate accountability and traceability. Provides inter-organizational contact with production personnel, inspection, and other internal customers.
