You'll collaborate closely with Supply Chain, Quality Engineering, and Production teams to maintain compliance with aerospace standards and support high reliability manufacturing. Responsibilities Perform incoming inspection of raw materials, mechanical components, electronic parts, hardware, and assemblies against engineering drawings, specifications, and purchase order requirements. Verify documentation including certificates of conformance, raw material certifications, test data, special process certs, and other required documentation per
AS9100/AS9102
standards. Conduct visual inspections using standard tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, borescopes, etc.) Identify, document, and segregate nonconforming material; initiate Nonconformance Reports (NCRs) and communicate findings to Quality Engineering and Supply Chain. Maintain accurate inspection records in ERP/MRP or QMS systems and ensure traceability requirements are fully met. Support audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to incoming inspection and supplier quality. Ensure proper handling, labeling, and storage of inspected materials in accordance with ESD, FOD, and safety protocols. Minimum Qualifications 2+ years of experience in receiving or quality inspection within aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated industries. Strong understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and specification interpretation. Proficiency with standard inspection tools and measurement techniques. Familiarity with
AS9100, AS9102
First Article Inspection, and general aerospace quality system requirements. Ability to identify defects, document findings accurately, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams. Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Preferred Skills and Experience 5+ years of experience in receiving or quality inspection within aerospace. Experience working with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Epicor, NetSuite). CMM or advanced metrology experience. IPC, NAS, or other aerospace hardware/material inspection experience. Certifications such as ASQ CQT (Certified Quality Technician) or similar.

Compensation bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities and internal equity.
