Organizational skills Manufacturing PPAP Manufacturing company experience Full Job Description Overview We are hiring a Quality Technician II for an electronics manufacturing environment in San Jose. This role is a strong fit for someone with hands-on quality experience supporting FAIRs, PPAP documentation, calibration systems, and ESD compliance. This position works with limited supervision and partners closely with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain. Responsibilities Prepare and review AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) Coordinate PPAP documentation and ensure packages are complete and accurate Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T Manage calibration tracking, scheduling, and documentation compliance Work with outside calibration vendors and review calibration certificates Support and maintain ESD compliance in line with
ANSI/ESD S20.20
Conduct routine audits and maintain audit-ready records Assist with root cause investigations and corrective actions Support internal, customer, and certification audits Qualifications 2 to 4 years of experience in a quality role within electronics manufacturing Experience with PCBA, box build, or cable assemblies preferred Strong working knowledge of:
AS9102 FAIR PPAP
Calibration systems ESD control standards Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T Strong documentation and organizational skills Proficient with Microsoft Excel Familiarity with IPC standards is a plus Experience with ERP/MRP or document control systems is a plus Preferred IPC certifications such as IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620, or
J-STD-001
Experience supporting audits in a regulated manufacturing environment Work Environment Electronics manufacturing environment Combination of production floor and office setting Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds as needed Apply If you have recent quality experience in electronics manufacturing and have worked with FAIRs, calibration, and ESD processes, we'd like to hear from you.
