Job Title:
Independent Living Skills (ILS) Team Lead/Quality Assurance Job Description We are seeking a dedicated, organized, and compassionate ILS Team Lead/Quality Assurance Specialist to oversee our Independent Living Skills program. This leadership role is responsible for supervising ILS staff, conducting client intakes, managing billing and documentation, and quality assurance and ensuring efficient operations within the team. The ILS Team Lead will also act as a liaison between staff and Tri-County Regional Center to maintain quality services and compliance standards and will lead outreach efforts to promote the program and attract new clients.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and supervise Independent Living Skills Specialists, providing support, guidance, and training as needed Conduct client intakes, assess individual needs, and assign cases to appropriate staff Review and approve documentation, including case notes and monthly calendars, ensuring accuracy and compliance with agency and Regional Center requirements Manage billing responsibilities at the end of each month by gathering and submitting all necessary documentation in a timely manner Serve as the primary liaison between ILS staff and Tri-County Regional Center, ensuring effective communication and collaboration Monitor program operations to ensure quality service delivery and adherence to individual service plans Support staff in problem-solving client-related concerns and provide crisis intervention guidance when needed Maintain knowledge of Title 17, Title 22, Client Rights, Regional Center policies, and Department of Developmental Services (DDS) requirements Assist with direct service provision as needed, including supporting clients in daily living activities, grocery shopping, cooking, medical appointments, and employment goals Drive to client locations within the Santa Barbara area to conduct intakes or support staff as needed Conduct quality assurance checks on all services provided. Conduct outreach and promote the company's Independent Living Skills program to attract new clients and build community relationships
Experience and Qualifications:
Previous experience supervising staff in disability services or related programs Strong knowledge of Regional Centers, DDS regulations, and client rights Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities Excellent organizational and time management skills Effective leadership, communication, and team-building abilities Knowledge of Google Workspace Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Compassionate, reliable, and motivated to provide high-quality services to clients and support professional growth of team members Experience in outreach, community engagement, or program promotion is preferred
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, or a related field preferred
