In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all mechanical components and assemblies meet strict quality standards and regulatory requirements. Your expertise will help maintain the integrity of our products, uphold compliance with industry standards such as
ISO 13485, FDA
regulations, and ISO 9001, and support continuous improvement initiatives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-quality manufacturing processes in a dynamic environment dedicated to excellence. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical parts and assemblies using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and vision inspection systems. Analyze inspection data, identify root causes of defects, and collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions. Maintain detailed documentation of inspection results, non-conformances, and quality reports for traceability and regulatory purposes. Support calibration and maintenance of measurement tools and inspection equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability. Experience Proven experience in mechanical inspection within a manufacturing or quality assurance environment. Familiarity with industry standards such as
ISO 13485
(medical devices), FDA regulations, ISO 9001 (quality management systems), CGMP, and HACCP is highly desirable. Hands-on experience operating measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, vision inspection systems, CMMs, and other precision instruments. Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and inspection data accurately. Knowledge of quality audit procedures, data collection methods, and root cause analysis techniques.
Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
