Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality standards of our products through rigorous quality control processes. This position involves conducting quality audits, performing inspections, and utilizing precision measuring instruments to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications. Responsibilities Conduct regular quality audits to assess compliance with internal and external standards. Utilize HACCP principles to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions. Operate precision measuring instruments, including coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and vision inspection systems. Analyze data from inspections and tests to identify trends and areas for improvement. Perform quality control checks on incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products. Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality metrics. Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement solutions. Utilize Calypso software for measurement analysis and reporting. Qualifications Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance roles, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with quality audits, HACCP principles, and QA/QC processes. Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments and coordinate measuring machines (CMM). Experience with vision inspection systems is a plus. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Knowledge of food safety regulations (GMP, HACCP, SQF, etc.).
