Retention Bonus:
Up to $3,000 ($1,500 at 6 months + $1,500 at 1 year) subject to eligibility requirements. Overview The Precision Meso-scale Technology Centre (PMTC) in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA, provides precision-machined components that support Keysight's industry-leading electronic measurement equipment. The Quality Technician will support mechanical inspection processes during day shifts. Through on-the-job training, the technician will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence by processing parts through both manual and automated inspection operations. Responsibilities include performing visual inspections under a microscope and operating precision inspection equipment. Strong manual dexterity and fine motor skills are essential. Start times for this role range from 5:00 AM to 7:00 AM.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-volume parts inspection and handling Conduct microscopic visual inspections Operate automated inspection equipment Use precision pin, thread, and ring gaging Follow Manufacturing Execution System (MES) processes Interpret specifications including Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
Required Skills:
Basic Windows PC and Microsoft Excel proficiency Strong manual dexterity and fine motor skills Experience in high-volume parts inspection and handling Ability to operate automated inspection equipment Ability to perform microscopic visual inspection Familiarity with precision gaging tools Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
Education & Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Some college or technical coursework preferred Ability to read, converse, and understand English Ability to interpret technical specifications, including
