in search of an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to join their manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring product quality and compliance with industry standards. The QA Technician will work closely with various departments to maintain and improve quality systems, ensuring adherence to GMP, SQF, SOP and SSOP standards. Shift Schedule:

Monday-Friday working 1 weekend day per week 10:00AM- 6:30

Pay:

$20.00-$25.00/hr DOE Responsibilities Perform thorough quality inspections using precision throughout the manufacturing process. Conduct regular quality audits to verify compliance with GMP, SQF, SOP and SSOP regulations and standards. Responsible for performing sanitation verification and allergen testing on equipment and other areas required. Responsible for the correct recording and filing of all relevant record logs and documentation. Maintain accurate documentation of results, non-conformances, and corrective actions in accordance with quality management systems. Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance procedures and protocols. Collect product samples for product development, lab retains, and the laboratory when directed. Perform inspections on products, equipment, and machinery. Other duties and projects as assigned by QA Management. Qualifications Bachelor of Science Degree, Diploma in Microbiology or Food Science OR proven experience working 3 years in a food processing environment. ( meat or poultry is preferred ). Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP's, allergens, and SQF. Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret data accurately for decision-making purposes. Experience conducting quality audits and inspections in a regulated environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain meticulous records. Bilingual Spanish a plus.

Pay:

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
