Senior Associate, Quality Assurance - Onsite

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Senior Associate, Quality Assurance - Onsite for a position with a Major Pharmaceutical Company located in Thousand Oaks, CA. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role provides real-time, floor-based Quality Assurance support for Clinical and Commercial drug substance production. The position is fully onsite and involves rotating shifts, cleanroom oversight, electronic batch record review, and acting as a QA liaison during manufacturing events. Ideal candidates will have hands-on QA or manufacturing experience in a GMP environment.

Responsibilities:

Provide daily oversight of the Drug Substance manufacturing areas Offer support and compliance oversight to Manufacturing and Facilities & Engineering staff Conduct purposeful presence on the floor, electronic batch record review, and SOP revision & approval Handle work order approval and quality approval of minor deviations Evaluate compliance issues, provide recommendations, and ensure progress of quality records to completion Represent the functional area for the Drug Substance Quality Assurance department in projects

Requirements:

High school/GED with 2+ years of work experience, OR Associate's degree with 6+ months of work experience, OR Bachelor's degree Flexibility to work rotating shifts (day, swing, graves) as this is a fully onsite role Quality Assurance background, preferably in a biotech or pharmaceutical GMP environment Demonstrated ability to perform GMP operations, including following detailed SOPs and good documentation practices Experience working with Quality Systems Strong attention to detail Desired skills: Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, or related science field Ability to make quality-based decisions to ensure compliance Experience managing projects through to completion and meeting timelines Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks at one time Effective communication skills (both written and verbal) Demonstrated ability to work as both a team player and independently Display leadership attributes and drive improvement initiatives Pay range: up to $34.02 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) employees will be considered for this position.
