This job description reflects management's assignment of essential functions, it does not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned . Performs sample gathering, physical measuring and chemical analysis tests of all batch products and performs documented inspection of all critical control points of production for conformance to quality and customer specifications. Testing includes physical and chemical testing and other lab testing as required for monitoring and analysis purposes. Must have knowledgeable of analytical procedures and product specifications. Responsible for approving analysis of batch and finish products. Inform Leads/Supervisors of any issues with product or product analysis. Be able to calibrate equipment based on the frequency of procedure. Assist leads, supervisor and/or manager in training. Assist in Holding and releasing product.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Responsible for authoring, preparing, and maintaining systems of documents that are used throughout the organization, by various persons and is integrally involved with quality, manufacturing, and other organizational functionalities to achieve the objectives of the position. Gathering documents from internal and external customers, performing research and translating this activity in to documents and reports is required. Examples of the types of activities assigned to this position include: Perform bench-top analysis of critical quality parameters in accordance with SOP's and control plan. Record data to assure that in-process samples and finished goods are in compliance to specifications. Conduct testing of in-process samples and finished goods in accordance with SOP's and control plan and report results. Prepares and circulates for approval, product specifications and manufacturing directives and maintains electronic and hard copy files of these. Creates and maintains compliance documentation and updates files as required to maintain compliance Perform other duties as assigned
OTHER ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES
Performs data entry and record keeping of lab results Follows all GMP's and ensures that appropriate personal protective and safety equipment are being worn, including but not limited to bump cap, gloves, safety glasses, and earplugs Follows Quality and applicable company SOP's Ensures shift pass down preparation is completed
NON- ESSENTIAL DUTIES
General housekeeping within QC lab and work areas
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
