As the QA/QC Technician for Artisan Bakers, the candidate will be responsible for supporting the QA/QC department with varying tasks that range from clerical support to onsite audits. This individual must be passionate, committed, and dedicated to the quality of our product and our systems in place. This position requires an above average attention to detail, with the ability to quickly process information, and act accordingly. This candidate will report to the QA/QC manager regarding observations, recommendations, and solutions to operational issues.Job Responsibilities:
Assist QA department in maintaining the compliance of the Food Safety Program. Participate in the implementation, and record Culture and Food Safety program benchmarks. Ensure GMP's being followed and upheld. Function as a liaison between staff and QA department. Work with QA team to develop and maintain an internal audit schedule. Assist on CCP's compliance verification. Collects required documentation from all sectors. Assist in reviewing all aspects of our HACCP plan. Accompany service suppliers during plant services. Assist management in training requirements.Core Competencies:

- Written and verbal communication skills are crucial in this role. Being able to explain ideas and concepts as well as actively listening is imperative. Documenting and presenting are key aspects of this role. . Multitasking
- Ability to pivot from task to task while prioritizing business needs without compromising quality standards.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
High School diploma 2+ years' experience in QA/QC role Plant inspections/audits. Knowledge of critical control points. GMP's Knowledge Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 4+ years' experience in a QA/QC role Experience with BRC audits. Bilingual (English, Spanish). Basic Food Safety knowledge Microsoft Programs (Word, Excel) Physical Requirements Regularly required to communicate. Position requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping. Frequently lift and/or move items over 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
