  • 30 DOE Under limited supervision, the QA Associate performs routine quality documentation and administrative activities in support of the Quality team.
This role ensures accurate recordkeeping, timely processing of quality documentation, and supports compliance with QMS and AS9100 requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Documentation & Record Management Create and maintain Material Review Reports (MRRs) Collect, verify, and input First Article Inspection Report (FAIR) data Update and track Corrective Action Reports (CARs) Process Engineering Change Order (ECO) revisions and updates Attach and organize objective evidence in QMS records QMS Support & Compliance Maintain accurate and complete quality documentation and records Ensure documentation aligns with internal procedures and AS9100 requirements Support document control processes, including filing and record retention Assist with audit preparation by organizing and retrieving required documentation Coordination & Communication Coordinate with Quality, Production, and Engineering teams to father required documentation Support responses to customer quality requests, including document retrieval and questionnaires Communicate documentation discrepancies, missing information, or delays to appropriate personnel Quality & Process Support Assist Quality team with administrative aspects of investigations and corrective actions Support continuous improvement initiatives through accurate documentation and tracking Help reduce backlog and improve turnaround time for quality processes Safety & Compliance Follow all company safety policies and procedures Report quality concerns, documentation errors, or compliance issues promptly Participate in required quality and safety training Additional Duties Perform other related duties as assigned to support business and quality objectives Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required, Associate's degree or coursework in Quality, Engineering, or related field preferred Minimum 2-4 years of experience in quality documentation, manufacturing, or aerospace environment required Working knowledge of
AS9100, ISO
9001, and QMS documentation requirements Experience with MRRs, FAIRs (AS9102), CARs, ECOs, and controlled document processes preferred Strong understanding of lot traceability, objective evidence, and record retention requirements Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions Demonstrated experience managing high-volume documentation with strict accuracy requirements Advance proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (Data tracking, organization, and reporting) Experience with ERP/MRP or quality management systems preferred Personal Attributes Integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and a focus on results Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team player Good communication and interpersonal skills; able to work well with others across departments Willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute to solving problems Ability to stay focused and use good judgment in day-to-day tasks Other Skills & Abilities Must be reliable and punctual with consistent on-site attendance Comfortable working in a fast paced, team-oriented environment Company Overview Precise Aerospace Manufacturing
