Job Description
Join a team that builds high-quality electronic products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector I with electronics manufacturing experience to support quality assurance activities across SMT, Wave Solder, and Selective Solder operations. This role is ideal for professionals who take pride in precision, process control, and delivering reliable products to customers. What You'll Do Perform in-process inspections throughout electronic assembly operations, including SMT, Wave Solder, and Selective Soldering Inspect components, subassemblies, and finished assemblies using microscopes, magnification tools, and precision measuring equipment Interpret inspection instructions, basic blueprints/prints, sample plans, and work instructions Verify product quality using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other mechanical measurement tools Identify and document non-conformances during first-piece and in-process inspections Accurately record inspection findings and production data Support continuous quality improvement initiatives and maintain high workmanship standards Collaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure product compliance and reliability What We're Looking For Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality Minimum 2 years of electronics manufacturing or inspection experience preferred Experience working in PCB assembly or soldering environments is highly valued Familiarity with inspection tools, microscopes, and measurement devices preferred Ability to work with repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy and consistency Comfortable working independently and following standardized procedures Willingness to learn new inspection techniques and quality verification methods Ability to lift up to 15 lbs regularly Ability to work under magnification for extended periods (up to 8 hours/day) High school diploma or equivalent preferred Certifications & Technical Skills Ability to pass:
IPC-A-610
Modules 1-8 J-STD-001 Modules 1 & 6 (as required) Basic math skills and calculator proficiency requiredPay:
