Since 2007, we've built our reputation by providing quality devices and delivering an exceptional customer experience. Every device we sell goes through a detailed refurbishment, testing, cleaning, and inspection process before reaching our customers. We're looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Cell Phone Refurbishment & Quality Control Technician to join our production team. This is an entry-level position with on-the-job training provided and opportunities to develop skills across several areas of our refurbishment operation. What You'll Do This is a hands-on, cross-functional position combining quality control, device testing, cleaning, and screen polishing . Your day-to-day responsibilities may change based on production needs, so we're looking for someone who enjoys learning different skills and working as part of a team. Quality Control & Testing Inspect smartphones for scratches, dents, screen wear, housing damage, and other cosmetic defects Accurately grade devices based on their cosmetic condition Perform functional device testing using NSYS Verify device model, color, condition, and other identifying information Identify devices that require additional repair, cleaning, or polishing Perform final quality inspections before devices are moved into sellable inventory Accurately label devices and verify that labels match the physical device Cleaning & Device Preparation Thoroughly clean and sanitize smartphones Remove fingerprints, adhesive, residue, dirt, and other contaminants Prepare devices for testing, polishing, final inspection, and sale Ensure finished devices are clean and presentation-ready Assist with general device preparation and production as needed Screen Polishing & Refinishing Evaluate screen scratches and determine whether devices are candidates for polishing Assist with preparing and sealing devices for the polishing process Load and unload polishing equipment Assist with operating screen polishing equipment and monitoring polishing runs Inspect screens following polishing to ensure cosmetic standards are met Apply oleophobic coating to screens after polishing Perform post-polish testing and inspection Assist experienced polishing technicians with equipment cleaning and routine maintenance Previous polishing or machine-operation experience is not required. Training will be provided. What We're Looking For You don't need previous cell phone experience to be successful in this position. We're looking for someone with the right attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.

Highly detail-oriented Dependable and punctual Comfortable working with their hands Able to learn new processes and follow established procedures Comfortable using computers and learning testing software Able to identify small cosmetic differences and defects Organized and able to keep an efficient workstation Able to balance quality and production speed Comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced production environment Able to work independently as well as part of a team Willing to move between QC, cleaning, polishing, and other production areas based on daily workload Honest and trustworthy with a high level of integrity Interested in learning new skills and taking on additional responsibility Previous experience with smartphones, electronics, quality control, machine operation, refurbishment, repair, detailing, or production is helpful but not required. High school diploma or GED preferred.
