With over 400 employees in Southern Colorado, you would be joining a mighty team of support and administrative staff, clinicians, physicians, nurses, and others in our efforts to improve the health and wellbeing of our community. We're looking for one full-time Team Lead to join our Quality Assurance & Audit Team in Pueblo, Colorado, or Grand Junction, Colorado. Hybrid in-person/remote considered. What You'll Be Doing As a Team Lead, you will assist with quality assurance and audit activities, provide training and mentorship to those on the team, and provide operational coverage when the Manager is unavailable.
RESPONSIBILITIES
: Under the direct supervision of the Manager of Quality Assurance and Audit the Team Lead, Quality Assurance & Audit will: Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive and protected information. Serve as a resource on quality assurance best practice. Maintain knowledge of applicable state and federal laws, rules, and regulations related to healthcare. Assist with quality assurance and audit activities across all programs and lines of business. Assist in developing a comprehensive training plan and program related to quality assurance and audit practice with all Health Solutions staff. Provide support to clinical and operational teams regarding Health Solutions policies, procedures, and practices as they relate to quality assurance. Minimize reimbursement recoupment risk through meeting or exceeding payer audit standards. Keep accurate, complete, and up-to-date records with 100% compliance with set standards. Adhere to the spirit of the mission statement while performing assigned duties. Performs other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor. Mentor and assist in the training of Quality Specialists. Provide operational coverage when the Manager is unavailable, within clearly defined authority. Bring staffing, performance, compliance, and high-risk concerns to the Manager promptly Physical requirements include the following: May stay stationery for prolonged periods of time. Moves within the facility. Occasionally exposed to stressful or emergent situations. Frequently operates a computer and other office equipment. Relevant areas of experience include, but are not limited to, quality assurance best practices, chart auditing, and critical incident management. Valid Colorado (or applicable state) driver's license and acceptable driving record. Basic computer skills, knowledge of healthcare operations, and knowledge of quality assurance.
