Job Description

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for precision? We are looking for a skilled Quality Technician to join our manufacturing team. The core of the job includes: High-Precision Dimensional Inspection and Proficiency with "old school" but high-end precision tools like micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and bore gauges. Interpreting complex 2D and 3D technical drawings and applying Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing standards to ensure that parts fit together perfectly in final assemblies. High SchoolResponsibilities Advanced Inspection:
Work from blueprints, specifications, and design drawings to verify manufactured parts and mechanisms against extremely tight tolerances.
Incoming & Vendor Quality:
Inspect incoming materials and vendor-supplied items to ensure they align with engineering drawings and company standards before they hit the production floor.
In-Process & Final Validation:
Collaborate closely with production teams to ensure parts fit perfectly during final assembly and maintain high standards for workmanship and appearance.
Calibration Management:
Support and maintain the calibration system, ensuring all measuring equipment is accurate, up-to-date, and on a proper cycle.
Documentation:
Prepare and maintain meticulous records, reports, and quality logs for all inspections.
Safety & Organization:
Maintain a clean, orderly work area and strictly adhere to all prescribed safety regulations.
