Job Description Insight Global is seeking a CMM Programmer to support inspection and measurement activities in a manufacturing environment. This role will focus on developing and maintaining CMM programs for new product inspections, short‑run production parts, and gauge recalibration efforts. The programmer will create CMM programs from engineering prints and ensure accurate measurement of gauges and components. A key responsibility includes converting legacy programs from Valisys into Modus or Camio environments. The CMM Programmer will work primarily with PC‑DMIS and support LK and Hexagon CMM machines. This position requires defining all inspection setups within a contract manufacturing structure to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and accurately. The individual will act as a subject matter expert, leveraging best‑in‑class measurement technology and inspection practices. Success in this role requires strong shop‑floor experience and the ability to adapt to evolving software and machine technologies. - 5+ years of hands‑on experience as a CMM Programmer
- Strong GD&T knowledge with the ability to interpret engineering blueprints
- Practical, hands‑on training with CMM machines (formal degree not required)
- Experience working in a shop or manufacturing environment
- Experience with Modus, PC‑DMIS, or Camio software
- Aerospace manufacturing experience
- Prior mentorship or leadership experience with Modus or Camio users
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new software, machines, and product specifications
