To ensure manufactured products meet the specified standards and specifications of the print and the final product meet quality standards.
  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Follow procedures and instructions for in process and final inspections across a wide variety of customized parts and assemblies with very close tolerances and specifications.
  • Determine method of inspection and set up requirements on first article parts.
  • Has authority and is responsible for notifying management to stop a machine operation to avoid continued production of defective parts.
  • Maintain records of results using 1Factory system and prepare appropriate reports.
  • Follow Safety Rules
  • Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) + Other duties as assigned
  • Minimum Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 4 years experience as inspector in a precision machining environment
  • Knowledge and experience of blueprint and spec interpretation
  • Experienced using all inspection hand gauging including: micrometers, thread gauges, dial indicators, vernier calipers, height gauges, internal and external thread gauges, ID/OD mics, bore gauges and etc.
  • Computer experience documenting and plotting inspection data
  • Capable of coordinating the inspection planning of a job
  • Excellent organization and communication skills
Salary Pay Range:
$16.68 - $22.12 USD Hourly Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by several factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training
