Responsibilities include conducting visual and physical inspections to identify defects, performing precise measurements using calipers, micrometers, and gauges, and maintaining detailed records of inspection results. Inspectors collaborate with production teams to analyze root causes of defects, implement solutions, and ensure compliance with ISO standards and internal safety protocols. Responsibilities:
Product Inspection:
Conduct thorough visual and physical inspections of plastic parts to identify defects, warping, or surface imperfections.=
Testing & Measurement:
Use precision instruments (calipers, micrometers, and gauges) to verify that products meet exact blueprints and tolerances.
Reporting:
Maintain detailed digital and written logs of inspection results, documenting pass/fail rates and specific non-conformities.
Root Cause Analysis:
Collaborate with the production team to identify why a part failed and help implement solutions to prevent future defects.
Compliance:
Ensure all production activities adhere to ISO standards and internal safety protocols.
Material Handling:
Periodically move or lift product batches for sampling and verification.
Working hours:
Various Shifts Available Skills:
Previous Quality Control experience in plastics or manufacturing Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn specialized inspection procedures Experience with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, scales) Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints Basic computer skills for digital data entry and quality reporting Good communication to explain quality issues to operators and supervisors Proactive problem-solving and process improvement mindset
Education:
High School Experience:
1-4 years
