We continue to invest in the latest technology and take great pride in employing the most talented sheet metal mechanics in the area.
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate Trumpf 3040 laser cutting machine Load and unload raw material using forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment Verify part quality using calipers, tape measures, and other inspection tools Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and engineering drawings Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and productivity Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment clean and organized Accurately complete production and quality documentation Work safely and maintain compliance with all company safety procedures
Qualifications:
Experience operating Trumpf laser cutting equipment preferred Forklift experience required Ability to obtain and maintain Ram Specialty Fabrications forklift certification (training and certification provided) Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Experience with measuring and inspection equipment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods Manufacturing and sheet metal fabrication experience preferred

Pay:
$22.00 - $26.00 per hour
