Quality Assurance Technician- Aerospace Integra-Cast New Britain, CT Job Details Full-time $22 - $25 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Life insurance Qualifications Mechanical blueprint interpretation Non-destructive testing Personal protective equipment (PPE) use High school diploma or GED Manufacturing facility Parts drawings Safety equipment Instrumentation-based inspection Associate's degree AS9100 Full Job Description an the an Job Summary The Quality Assurance Technician supports manufacturing and quality operations by performing in-process and final inspections, assisting with assembly and component installation, preparing and testing test bars, conducting spectrometer analysis, and supporting Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) activities. This role is hands-on and cross-functional, ensuring product conformity, process compliance, and timely support across all manufacturing cells. Key Responsibilities Perform in-process and final inspections across all manufacturing cells as required Verify product conformity to drawings, specifications, and work instructions Document inspection results accurately and maintain quality records Identify nonconformances and communicate issues to Quality and Production leadership Support assembly work and component installation as required Prepare test bars and perform required testing per specifications Conduct spectrometer analysis for material verification Support NDT department with preparation, handling, and documentation of parts Support audits and maintain a clean and safe work environment Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. An associate's degree is preferred. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in manufacturing, quality, inspection, or assembly Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Familiarity with basic inspection tools Preferred Qualifications Experience with spectrometer analysis Experience supporting NDT operations Knowledge of AS9100 or aerospace quality systems Experience in aerospace manufacturing environment Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift in a manufacturing environment Ability to lift up to 40 lbs Ability to work in industrial environments using required
PPE Pay:
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
