Job Title:
Quality Inspector Job Description We are seeking dedicated quality inspectors for both entry and higher-level positions. In this role, you will collaborate with various individuals involved in our manufacturing process, conduct in-process and final inspections, and meticulously document inspection logs. You will utilize computers and measure with tools such as calipers, micrometers, steel rulers, pin gages, and height gages. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in a metal fabrication environment. Responsibilities Collaborate with team members involved in the manufacturing process. Perform in-process and final inspections. Document inspection logs accurately. Operate FARO and Micro-Vu measurement equipment. Complete PPAP and 1st article documentation processing. Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measurements, including fractions and decimals. Utilize micrometers, calipers, steel rulers, pin gages, surface plates, and height gages. Read and interpret blueprints. Use computers efficiently. Essential Skills Experience operating FARO and Micro-Vu measurement equipment. Ability to complete PPAP and 1st article documentation processing. Proficient in mathematical operations with measurements, including fractions and decimals. Skillful use of micrometers, calipers, steel rulers, pin gages, surface plates, and height gages. Competence in reading and interpreting blueprints. Computer literacy. Additional Skills & Qualifications Assist with calibration process of measuring tools. Experience in operating FARO and Micro-Vu measurement equipment. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Suffield, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $68640.00/yr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
