Job Description

We are seeking a Quality Technician to join our team! As a Quality Technician you will be responsible for ensuring all products coming into Danver and all products produced by Danver meet all company standard(s) along with customer specifications. The Quality Technician primary responsibilities will include identifying quality issues, audits, data collection, and ensuring a resolution to all quality issues are completed in a timely manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Achieves quality assurance operational objectives by contributing information and analysis to strategic plans, and reviews; prepares and completes action plans; implements production, quality, and customer-service standards; identifies and resolves problems; completes audits; data collection and reporting of all data to the Director of Quality.
  • Ensure that the organization's Quality Management System conforms to customer, internal, ISO 9001, and all regulatory/legal requirements.
  • Meets quality assurance standards analyzes variances; initiates corrective actions.
  • Prepare reports as needed, submit to and review with the Director of Quality.
  • Assist and train operators as needed on quality issues; visual acceptability, measurement, and process procedures as required.
  • Maintains and improves product quality by completing product and process audits; investigates customer complaints; collaborates with other members of management to review new product(s) and designs along with the engineering department.
  • Prepares quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends including failed processes, recalls, corrective actions, and first articles.
  • Maintains reports and records of inspections, monitors defects, and interacts with other departments to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Monitor new product(s) and first article inspections according to Danver's guidelines.
  • Perform regular quality checks of components using manual and electronic measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers etc.

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Associate degree preferred
  • 3 years' experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control
ISO 9001
2015 Knowledge
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive attitude
  • Problem Solving skills and the ability to Identify Problem areas
  • Attention to detail and dealing with complex situations
  • PPAP Experience
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization
  • Self- Motivated
  • Time management and the ability to prioritize work schedule
  • Ability to read AutoCAD/SolidWorks prints
  • CAD experience preferred
