Aviation MRO / Engine Overhaul Ready to play a key role in aviation quality and compliance? We're looking for a dependable Detailed / Surveillance Inspector to support inspection activities, verify workmanship and documentation, monitor processes, and help ensure work is performed in accordance with approved procedures and applicable requirements. This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced aviation environment where safety, quality, accuracy, and attention to detail matter every day.WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Perform detailed inspections of aircraft engine components, parts, assemblies, and related work.
- Conduct surveillance of maintenance, inspection, repair, assembly, and shop activities to verify compliance with approved procedures.
- Review work performed, technical data, inspection records, and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Verify that components and assemblies meet applicable specifications, drawings, manuals, and approved technical data.
- Identify defects, discrepancies, damage, or nonconforming conditions and communicate findings to the appropriate personnel.
- Monitor work areas and processes for compliance with company procedures, quality requirements, and applicable aviation standards.
- Document inspection and surveillance results accurately and maintain complete records.
- Coordinate with technicians, inspectors, supervisors, and quality personnel to resolve inspection findings.
- Maintain a professional, organized, and safety-focused work environment.
WHAT YOU NEED
- Previous experience in aircraft engine, aviation MRO, quality inspection, surveillance, or a related aviation environment is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify discrepancies and quality concerns.
- Ability to read and follow technical instructions, manuals, drawings, specifications, and procedures.
- Ability to accurately document inspection findings and maintain records.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technicians, inspectors, and management.
- Ability to work independently while following established procedures and quality requirements.
REQUIRED / PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous aviation MRO, aircraft engine, quality assurance, or inspection experience preferred.
- Familiarity with FAA regulations, aviation maintenance practices, and quality systems is a plus.
- Experience with inspection documentation and technical records is preferred.
- Ability to successfully complete required company training and qualifications.
