09/07/2026 Job Description Job Description PrideStaff on behalf of a client in Tamarac is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quality Inspector with experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry to join their Production Team.Responsibilities:
Performs incoming, in-process, and final inspections of components and products to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Operates measurement and test equipment, including calipers, micrometers, Keyence systems, and SmartScope machines, to verify product conformity. Conducts visual, dimensional, and functional inspections as required by inspection plans and procedures, utilizing strong near vision to identify fine imperfections and surface flaws. Identifies, isolates, and documents non-conforming materials and products. Maintains accurate inspection records, test results, and quality documentation in alignment with Good Documentation Practices (GDP). Completes First Article Inspection (FAI) reports, routine inspection reports, and non-conformance reports in a timely manner. Ensures all quality records are properly documented, reviewed, and retained according to company procedures. Monitors manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with established quality, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and $C_ pk $ requirements. Assists in identifying quality issues, root causes, and corrective actions while supporting continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing defects. Participates in quality audits, investigations, process evaluations, team meetings, and customer audits. Works closely and collaborates with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to resolve quality-related issues and ensure timely disposition of non-conforming materials. Communicates inspection results, non-conformances, and quality concerns effectively to cross-functional stakeholders. Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work environment by complying with all safety policies, procedures, and quality management systems.Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum 1-3 years of working experience in a medical manufacturing environment required. Proven prior experience in quality inspection and testing required. Basic proficiency in the use of measurement equipment (calipers, micrometer, Keyence systems, and SmartScope measuring devices). Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and experience working with ERP systems. Ability to read and understand Work Instructions, engineering drawings, and schematics. Strong analytical problem-solving, math skills (fractions, decimals, basic shop math), decision-making, and organizational skills. Self-starter capable of managing multiple component submissions with minimal supervision. Understanding of quality inspection processes and documentation requirements such as FAI, inspection reports, and quality records. Must be able to submit to a background check and a drug screen.Work Location:
