Quality Inspector•
Fort Myers, FL Openings:
Day Shift & 2nd Shift Position Summary We are seeking detail-oriented Quality Inspectors to join our team in Fort Myers, FL. This position is responsible for inspecting precision components and finished assemblies used in the aerospace industry to ensure they meet strict quality and safety standards. Both day shift and 2nd shift opportunities are available. Key Responsibilities Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections on aerospace parts and assemblies Inspect individual components for defects, dimensions, and specifications using measuring tools Conduct final inspection of assembled products to ensure compliance with engineering and quality standards Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and specifications Use inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and visual inspection tools Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records Identify non-conforming materials and follow proper reporting and containment procedures Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues Ensure adherence to AS9100, ISO, and aerospace quality standards (if applicable) Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with safety guidelines Qualifications Previous experience as a Quality Inspector in manufacturing (aerospace experience preferred) Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints Strong understanding of measurement tools and inspection techniques Familiarity with quality standards and inspection processes High attention to detail and accuracy Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting Strong communication and teamwork skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with aerospace components or assemblies Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO quality systems

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00
  • $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
