Pay Rate:
$50.55/hour Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector / CMM Programmer to join a leading aerospace manufacturing team in Jupiter, FL. This position is responsible for performing detailed inspections of aerospace propulsion components, operating and programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), reviewing engineering documentation, and ensuring compliance with company, customer, and government quality standards. This role offers the opportunity to work on advanced aerospace propulsion systems with the potential to convert to a direct hire position based on performance and business needs. Key Responsibilities Perform dimensional and visual inspections of aerospace propulsion parts and assemblies. Program and operate Zeiss Calypso Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM). Develop new CMM inspection programs and coordinate measuring routines. Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and GD&T. Verify product conformance to engineering requirements. Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections. Process inspection documentation and maintain accurate quality records. Investigate non-conforming materials and assist with corrective actions. Maintain inspection logs, reports, and photo documentation. Support production teams to ensure product quality and compliance. Utilize precision measuring equipment to verify product dimensions. Assist in validating CMM programs and inspection routines. Participate in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. Follow all company safety, quality, and environmental procedures. Required Qualifications U.S. Citizen (No Dual Citizenship) High School Diploma or GED 3-5 years of quality inspection experience within a manufacturing environment Experience programming and operating Zeiss Calypso CMM Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints Experience using precision measuring instruments Computer proficiency with electronic documentation systems Strong problem-solving and documentation skills Preferred Qualifications Technical Certification or Trade School (2-3 years preferred) Aerospace or defense manufacturing experience Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles Experience with quality systems and non-conformance investigations Inspection Stamp/Warranty Authority experience is a plus #
WCH Pay:
$45.00 - $50.55 per hour
