Job Description

Job Title:
Quality Inspector (2nd Shift)
Schedule:
3:00 pm - 1:30 am, Monday -
Thursday Position Description:
Inspects, audits, and reports on materials, processes and products using variable or attribute measuring instruments and techniques to ensure conformance with the companies quality standards. Maintain associated records.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Inspects product and associated documentation to determine compliance with order specification, company quality control systems, and conformity to specific standards. 2. Submit samples of product to applicable laboratory for testing as indicated by department or procedures. 3. Maintains inspection records and documents. 4. Provides information to the Quality Assurance Manager of approval or rejection of product and provides information for Non-Conforming Report (NCR) when necessary. 5. Reports conditions requiring immediate attention.
Qualifications:
Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED and 3+ years of experience.
Basic Computer Skills Communication Skills:
Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
Organization:
Ability to be highly organized, detail oriented and repsond's to change quickly. Works under general supervision reporting to manager or head if department.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is frequently required to stand, walk and sit. Use hands, fingers, to handle or feel; reach with hand and arms; talk and hear. The associate must occasionally lift/and move up to 25 pounds.
