About the Role As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity of complex aerospace components by managing the First Article Inspection process. You will leverage your technical expertise in precision measurement and regulatory compliance to drive quality excellence and facilitate seamless customer approvals. Responsibilities Execute comprehensive First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) in strict accordance with AS9102 standards using DISCUS and NetInspect platforms. Validate that materials and processes align with complex engineering drawings, purchase orders, and customer-specific flow-down requirements. Perform rigorous dimensional and visual inspections on high-tolerance machined parts using advanced metrology tools such as CMM, optical comparators, and various precision hand gages. Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering and Operations teams to resolve technical discrepancies and ensure documentation accuracy. Manage the submission of Government Product Lot Testing (PLT), First Article Testing (FAT), and FAA Conformity reports to maintain regulatory compliance. Utilize ERP systems and Microsoft Office to track inspection progress and maintain detailed quality records.
